Karin Schumacher graduated Cum Laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and became an Attorney in 2001. Her Law Review Article on Informed Consent was published during her Law School tenure. She writes articles and blogs for magazines and news media. She publishes a newsletter; “News You Can Use”.  Her career began in the public interest arena where she advised, counseled and helped over 15,000 clients and provided more than 7500 Trusts, Wills, Deeds, Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directives. Karin opened Afsar Estate Planning in 2015 and enjoys helping clients navigate the entire Estate Planning process.
